Bedside Cot Reviews

A bedside crib (also known as a bassinet) is located close to your bed to allow you to be able to tend to baby during night feeds and nappy changes without needing to get out of your bed. They are also great for developing independence as your child grows more comfortable in their own sleep space.

The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib that lets parents sleep with their infant while making sure that they're asleep safely. Its smooth gliding motion can help calm your baby, and its innovative features allow you to monitor your child without having to leave your bed.

The cot's slide-away side panel can be raised and lowered with the press of a button, making it simple to reach inside and soothe a crying baby at night. It has 11 height adjustments to accommodate almost any mattress size. It also has adjustable folding feet so that it sits exactly at the right height.

The cot is cushioned and has mesh sides to increase ventilation, and its mattress is made from high-density foam for extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned so that you can keep it clean. Additionally, it comes with a fitted sheet that's suitable for use with the cot.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with all beds including divans. This is thanks to the straps and clips that connect to it. It can also be used as a standalone crib if it is not attached to your bed, and it's full of amazing features specifically designed with the bonding between parents and babies in mind.

One thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is great for newborns, it won't last long after your baby turns six months old, so you will need to invest in larger cots. However, overall Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she particularly liked its elegant design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was a reasonable price for a cot with the most innovative features. She also liked how it looked in the bedroom and believed that the grey shade will work well in modern homes. However, she pointed that it's not a great idea to rock a young baby as it could set a bad habit for later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure the best sleep possible. It features a drop side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to disturb your little one or get them out of bed - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

It's made of soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabric options that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secure to ensure safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer support number in case you experience any issues.

The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you'd think of in a crib for your bedside, such as the ability to connect it to your bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. In  bedside cot newborn  there is an inclines feature that can be used to assist babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine-washable, a necessity for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that come with having a baby!

The CoZee is a fantastic option for keeping your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could transform into a cot. While it won't be able to magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive options, but it is packed with lots of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism to open and close the side panel and is simple to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings as well as retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.

Our testers appreciated the ease of access offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just one click of a button. This was particularly helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them.

It is possible to lower the side panel itself but this is not recommended since it increases the likelihood that your child will fall out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a great feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to bring them back to sleep after feeding. It is also very spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does come with lengthy instructions. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, but it's quite portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It's also able to fold into a travel bag, which is great for those who want to transport it. The only issue our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't move as much as some of the other models, which made it slightly harder to observe your child from your own bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're in search of an ideal bedside crib that can grow with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering. It's a co-sleeping crib that is securely attached to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough.  travel cot bedside crib  is ideal for feeding your baby at night and strengthening the bond you have with your baby's new.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other cribs. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as airflow mattress that is breathable and hypoallergenic maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline can help to ease colic and reflux and colic, while the zip-down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby at night.

The kit for converting cots is also well-designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us about an hour to assemble and was relatively simple. The only issue was the lack of captions written on a few images which made it difficult to follow certain steps. Overall, it was a simple process and the quality of the materials used was excellent.

In the co-sleeping position, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section because it lets them comfortably reach out to their infant to feed and comfort them without having to leave their bed. It's a great option for parents who don't want to deal with the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot or getting out of it.

The gliding motion was found to be very beneficial in lulling babies into sleep following feedings at night or midday. The drop-down side can be accessible to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night this was a huge draw for our exhausted test mums. While it doesn't rock or have extra features such as an audio system the Joie Roomie Glide's elegant design and practicality are a welcome addition to our best bedside crib reviews.
